Wat het bewijs ondersteunt
De naleving in de praktijk is slecht en studies over strikte voedselvermijding hebben moeite gehad om aan te tonen dat het ziekte vermindert zoals verwacht — handhygiëne presteert beter dan voedselkeuze. [1]
Dit is geen vrijbrief om zorgeloos te zijn; het is een reden om handhygiëne voorrang te geven boven angst voor salade.
